This took place in the presence of representatives of the government comprising of ministers, deputy ministers, Office of National Security, Police and management of African Minerals Limited in Kalansongia chiefdom in the Tonkolili District.
The Awareness Times also reported that a Sierra Leonean citizen called Gibrilla Kamara aka GK has pleaded guilty in an American court to conspiring to import cocaine into the United States of America. GK was reportedly arrested in Liberia and extradited to New York to answer to cocaine trafficking and other related charges. GK is believed to have been very active in recruiting South American drug trafficking organizations to establish operations in West Africa over the years.
Reports say, she was introduced to the secret society by her aunt, Baby Kamara and Sampa Fatmata, both being senior members of the society.
Sampa Fatmata is alleged to have initiated ten girls in the Grafton community including three under-aged girls.
The reports stated that Sampa Fatmata, who serves as the chairlady of the Grafton Market Women’s Association, connived with Baby Kamara, the Secretary of the organization, to forcefully initiate the 3-year-old child without the consent of her parents.
